I just couldn't resist getting this mug, from our recent trip to South Carolina. It's another in a long line of animal mascots, particularly in food service, in which the animal being served is also doing the serving. Wouldn't he be the most hated and horrible example of his species, this happy butcher pig? Richard Scarry is even guilty of portraying cute, butcher pigs among the citizens of Busytown.
Ew.
Oh, well; I still love the little guy, and what do I care? I hate ham.
