Of Folk Tales and Cat Tails

This is a scan from Carl Withers' and Alan Cober's version of the classic "drawing tale" 'The Tale of a Black Cat'. It's so fun to see this type of story in print form, as it's often told in person, with the aid of a drawing implement, and a pad of paper, as the story is illustrated, and narrated, in person. The old tale is said to have been a favorite of Lewis Carroll's, who frequently made up his own versions.

  1. BTW, this book was from 1966. It's not a new release, or anything...Just good, that's all.
