Super Spooky Chicago Halloween Art Show!

Hey, it's the Chicago Art Department's "Night of the Living Artist" show, starting this Friday, October 10th! Opening reception is Friday, 7-10pm; closing reception is also a Halloween party, on Oct. 31st, also from 7 -10pm, which means, you know, bring your wax fangs and such.

I'll be debuting the work "Tribute: Artist Ed Ruscha as Zombie Mustard Bottle", which, clearly, cannot be denied an art review in the Tribune, and scores of folks are also debuting new works made just for the event.

Special thanks to Kerry, over at Plushinality, for the sneak-peek screenshot of Robyn Fabsits' contribution to the show, as well as Kerry's stellar organization of the event as a whole.

Further details here, and here's the street info for this most excellent new arts venue in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood:

The Chicago Art Department
1837 South Halsted
Chicago, IL 60608

And alright, here's a very vague and sneaky close-up peek, so as not to spoil the fun, at Mustard Bottle Ed:

He's, you know, Classic Yellow American-style, in plastic bottle.

Check it out, and Happy October!
